Our Primary 5 pupils have been learning all about Newspaper Report writing — discovering how to write engaging headlines, use quotes effectivel and report events with accuracy and detail.
We were especially impressed by Natalie McElhill, who showed wonderful independence and creativity by producing her own newspaper report over the weekend, highlighting the recent Storm Amy. Natalie’s work captured the key facts, described the storm’s impact and demonstrated fantastic journalistic flair.
