P6/7 River Trip
10th Mar 2026
Our P6 and P7 pupils have wrapped up their World Around Us topic on Rivers, Mountains and the Water Cycle with a fantastic outdoor learning experience.
They visited the Shannon Pot, the source of Ireland’s longest river, before heading to Cuilcagh Mountain, where they explored the features of a mountain and linked their classroom learning to the real world.
We were very fortunate to have a beautiful day, and our pupils thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Lots of learning, fresh air and fun was had by all!
