In 2026, Fermanagh and Omagh will be celebrating 10 years of Community Planning. To mark the occasion, we’re creating a Time Capsule and Planting two Tree of Hopes — one in Grange Park, Omagh, and one in Forthill Park, Enniskillen — filled with messages and artwork from local young people, to be opened again in 2036.
P5-P7 children are invited to draw, write a poem or take a photograph that helps express “What you love most about where you live?”
This could include:
- Favourite places or landmarks - People and community spirit
- Local traditions, wildlife, or nature - Fun activities or special moments
Selected winning artwork and messages from participating schools will be digitally stored in the Time Capsule beside our Tree of Hope, symbolising growth, unity, and optimism for the future.
