🏆Well done to our World Cup winners who were presented with their trophies🏆
The tournament was a great success, with plenty of excellent goals, saves and tackles on display. Most importantly, it gave our P5-P7 pupils the opportunity to learn from both victories and defeats, while showing sportsmanship and respect throughout.
A special mention to our Players of the Tournament:
Annie Mae Kerr – Consistently excellent throughout the competition. In the semi-final, with the scores level and only seconds remaining, Annie Mae scored a superb left-footed strike from outside the box into the bottom corner to send her team through to the final.
Senan Gilheaney – The tournament’s top scorer and scorer of some outstanding goals from distance. A fantastic team player throughout, Senan scored twice in the final to help his team secure the trophy.
